Thanks to all for the submissions sent through email or directly to the VRE here. Some protocols also developed out of the teleconferences held July 31st. For each of the 3 (DEW) themes and their sub-themes there are now specific protocols posted that can address the key questions which motivate the AIRS research, and form the basis for the research proposal.

Please submit your protocols/experimental methods by clicking on the Add Child Page. To add it to a particular theme, go to that theme/sub theme and add a child page there- it is at the bottom (scroll down). From the submitted protocols we will look for overlaps; we will select protocols that can be applied across several research sites so as to address the research in Development, Education, and Well-being. In other cases, the protocol may be carried out at only your site. This very large proposal will be able to accommodate approximately 25 protocols (some of which will be variations of one protocol). Some of these protocols will be elaborated in detail in proposal. Decisions about the protocols will be finalized on July 31st but a preliminary plan will be developed before then. If you have difficulty submitting your protocol ideas, please e-mail them to Vickie Armstrong (varmstrong@upei.ca) .

1. First hit " Edit". Then Fill in the title with your name and then a brief descriptive title of your method

2. Leave the "parent" as is (this will confirm that you are posting it to the right place- if not we can easily move it around)

3. Add your information - paste directly into the text box or by typing. Sometimes formatting can be a problem with line breaks etc. Don't worry about this- I will fix formatting if I see problems

4. Select Project Members group to limit the post to people who are part of the grant project. If you wish others to see the post as well, select general interest group too. If you wish, attach a file - though this section can't handle many large files. If you have media you want to post, please contact me
